I had two hernias repaired laparoscopically, and I’m heading back to our home in San Juan del Obispo (Antigua) in much better shape than I have been in for a long time.  I have to thank Lori Shea and her expertise in knowing the best of the best in the medical world, and her guidance in navigating the systems here in Guatemala City.

The doctors treated me so well, with respect, laughter, and intelligence. The nursing and service staff were some of the most attentive, hard-working, pleasant, and qualified hospital staff I have ever encountered. There are a lot of challenges adapting to and living in a new country, so I truly believe in the work Lori does with Guatemala Medical Travel, and in the private healthcare available in Guatemala.
